"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

I've just found out that deleting your DA site doesnt fit in with their policy, so this site is here to stay. I'm not sure if I'll be adding anything else to it or I'll just delete everything off. So for now, I'm just treading water...
